BSc in Biological Sciences, University of Buenos Aires (UBA), 1997. PhD in Biological Sciences, UBA, 2002.
Postdoctoral training at Institut Curie (INSERM, France) and the Laboratory of Oncoimmunology, Academia Nacional de Medicina.
Research Focus
Investigates the role of γδ T lymphocytes as early sensors of cellular stress and infection, and their cytotoxic and secretory functions in infectious and tumor contexts. In glioblastoma, studies how tumor‑derived extracellular vesicles modulate γδ T cell activity and the antitumor microenvironment. In Shiga‑toxin‑producing Escherichia coli‑associated hemolytic uremic syndrome, examines the contribution of γδ T cells to the inflammatory response that leads to renal injury.
Teaching and Supervision
Supervisor of two undergraduate theses and three doctoral theses.
